𝑼𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆
In fiction romance novel, Dismantled Hearts, there are moments of complete chaos but also moments when genuine joy and peace are experienced. The final sentence of the book leaves a lasting impression that I love. I won't share it because it'll give away the book some, but every now and then, I revisit that sentence and reflect on my own life.
Looking back, I've faced many ups and downs. What I'm most appreciative of is that no matter the circumstance, I still wake up with peace in my heart. I could have experienced bad news the day before, but when I wake up, I don't feel it weighing heavy on my heart. Instead, I feel this inner calmness. People often wonder how I stay so composed in difficult situations. My answer is simple: God has never failed me, so why would He start now? No matter what challenges I face, I know God will work them together for my good.
I didn't always feel this way. Before, when I experienced a difficult ongoing situation, I woke up with anxiety and tightness in my chest, reminding me that I was still in a battle. I haven't felt this way in years, and I know it's the peace of God inside me. I trust Him whether the waters are raging or calm. The peace I feel is beautiful even in chaos. A peaceful life is a beautiful life, and I protect it at all costs. I don't neglect people for it, but I want them to feel it when they are around me. I want others to feel it radiating from me.
Joy, for me, feels like I'm high on life. I'm genuinely happy, even though my life is far from perfect. There are days when I want to stay sad, days when I feel discouraged, and days when I feel lazy. I know it's healthy to feel my emotions, but I'm thankful I don't stay there. No matter the circumstance, I wake up and go to sleep with a grateful heart. Unspeakable joy doesn't come from things, status, or opportunities but from God alone. This makes my joy pure and authentic. By following God's plan for my life, I find that joy is a natural result. Basking in His love every day fills me with calmness. God continuously makes a way for me, soothing my heart and speaking to my spirit.
To anyone reading this and feeling a heaviness in your chest each morning, burdened by yesterday's worries, I encourage you to bring all your thoughts, problems, desires, and insecurities to God. Open your heart to Him and speak honestly. He is an Amazing Counselor. While it's okay to share your problems with others, your true refuge should be in God. Talking to Him makes life easier. Once you trust the Lord with every area of your life, you'll begin to experience joy and peace that surpasses all understanding.
God desires for all of us to experience relentless joy, peace, and happiness in our lives. Staying connected to Him is key. As you deepen your faith, you'll continuously encounter new levels of joy and peace, leaving you in awe. Even when certain areas of your life are out of place, you'll still have an internal peace. Knowing that God is in control and desires the best for you brings a profound sense of joy and peace. Once again, I attest that it's because of the Lord that I have experienced this pure settling peace. It's a true sense of joy. I'm rooting for you to deepen your faith and experience this each day too!
